Our Time Is Running Out

SO.

We had to perform a Jazz number today for our lecturers drummer Darren Moore and legend Jeremy Monteiro himself, just so that they could have a gauge of where we stand in the whole Jazz department. It was quite fun, Audrey, Andrew, Brian and I did Just The Way You Are, and poor Andrew played at least 8 of the 10 songs performed today.

Headed down to school to rehearse with them at 11am, but we only started at 12. Took us approximately half and hour to jam before deciding we were ok and good to go, so we had to rot for three and a half hours before heading for the class at 4pm. I wanted to kill myself, these are the ridiculous breaks I've been avoiding since having to endure them for the whole of my first year in Lasalle.

Had a gig at Thumper tonight, one set, that's it. Turned out to be Thumper's 2nd anniversary. Cool.

Here's a sob story for you. My Nissan March is going to be scrapped tomorrow morning. Why is that a sob story? Because I've grown so attached to it, as have most of the people who have sat in my little car. Alv kept stroking the car door today and saying "shit man, this car is just awesome. what a waste." Yeah, I know.
