Will I/You Wait For You/Me?

I went with Beng and Noel to collect our gowns for convocation today at Delta house. It's so surreal, we're actually done with 3 yrs of school. I'm the only one among all of us who is continuing with a degree, but still the fact that school life is almost over and work life begins is starting to really hit me hard now. I was chatting with George about what my job options are after Lasalle is over and done with, and I realised that I do have a few choices, but what suits me best? What will I enjoy doing and most importantly, what will generate the most/enough income to keep me alive?

The sad thing is that I can say confidently that 99% of ALL musicians in Singapore end up being teachers, whether or not it's their passion to pass knowledge on to others. Do I want to teach? Sure, but I doubt I'll be a very good teacher. Don't get me wrong, I'm not being pessimistic, I'm just trying to be as realistic about this as I can be. Truth be told, I seriously SUCK at teaching. hurhur. I guess it's something that can be trained and honed over time, gotta work hard at it.

Got an event gig at Thumper tomorrow. Funny, they chose Modern Rock over Jazz.
